Latest Update: in effect starting July 16, 2021.
Public Masses Have Resumed
Our Lady of Perpetual Help has re-opened for the public celebration of Mass!
As of July 16, 2021, the Province of Ontario reopening guidelines allow churches to re-open to full capacity with social distancing requirements in place -- 6-feet physical distancing between parishioners who are not in the same household. At OLPH, this measure means there is not a significant increase in how many people we may accommodate and so we are still operating below 25% of our capacity.
For this reason, registration is required for all the weekend Masses.
Worship Safe protocols are in place: please maintain distance from those who are not in your household and wear a mask -- covering nose, mouth and chin -- for the duration of your time in the church.
Saturday at 5 p.m.
Sunday 9 a.m., 11 a.m. or 4 p.m.
How to Register for Weekend Mass
An invitation to register for Sunday Mass is sent through Eventbrite to our parishioners on Monday. If you have not been receiving the invitation to register on Mondays, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org or call 416-489-1540 ext. 221. Registration for the upcoming weekend Masses closes each week on Friday at Noon. If you have registered and need to cancel, please let the office know by Thursday so that someone else may take that spot before the Friday registration deadline.
Our 12:10 p.m. weekday Masses have resumed. Since numbers of people in attendance are lower on the weekdays, registration is NOT required for weekday Mass.
Please use the main doors to enter and leave the church and remember to wear your mask and remember to sit well away from anyone else who might be in the church at the same time. We are all still required to follow all health and safety protocols in the church in order to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
Church Open for Personal Prayer
The church is open for personal prayer from Monday to Friday, every weekday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Please use the main doors to enter and leave the church and remember to wear your mask & sit well away from anyone else who might be in the church at the same time.
Confession by Appointment:
Those wishing to receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation (Confession) can do so via appointment by contacting the pastor, Msgr. Jim at email@example.com
Parish Office Closed:
Please note that the parish office is closed. Because the parish staff are working from home as much as possible, they may not be able to pick up any voicemail messages that you may leave. However, they are able to get their e-mail from home. If you wish to leave a message for one of the staff, the best way to do so is by e-mail. Please contact the office by e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org and you will be directed to the appropriate staff member.
